Hot swap - battery swapping on the fly

You know the situation. You're out on an errand, you've got a job to do on your mobile terminal, all you need to do is retrieve the client's code and signature - and the battery is almost dead. You have a spare, fully charged, in your pocket. But if you replace the battery now, you'll have to reestablish the client's arrival record, re-select his address from the list, and initiate the "Handover" operation once more.
