SVJ Gutova "Parking control" application
Based on the demand of the community of owners for monitoring the use of parking spaces, we have created a mobile device application that allows quick registration of parked vehicles. We used our proven CipherLab RK25 terminal and UHF attachment.
Each authorized user of a parking space receives an RFID UHF plastic card with a unique identifier. The user is required to place this behind the windscreen of the vehicle. In the application, the card is linked to the housing unit. In the application it is possible to manage the issued cards and view the history.
A person in charge of regular parking lot checks scans all vehicle cards in the vicinity up to a distance of several meters. He/she compares the found list of cards with the actual number of parked vehicles and, if necessary, adds the vehicles found without cards or parked in places not designated for them.
Each check produces a report that can be exported to Excel both individually and in aggregate over multiple periods for further analysis. The file can be exported directly from the device via email or a shared folder.
The person conducting the parking control can do this much faster thanks to the wireless RFID technology than if they were to manually write down the vehicles or identify them using a barcode on a card. At the customer's request, the system is not based on registration of the license plate number although the card can be linked to the vehicle's license plate number.
