RFID laundry control for laundry

Christof Laundry approached us with a request for a terminal that would read both of their RFID frequencies that they use, i.e. HF, or NFC, and UHF. They needed to supply such a device to their customers to control the laundry they handed over.

The RK25 terminal from Cipherlab proved to be ideal. For four reasons. The RK25 terminal has a physical keypad, so the operator's fingers can easily select the next steps of the mandrel (moisture/dryness) by pressing the keys. The second reason is the ability to buy a UHF pistol grip attachment to the NFC frequency in the terminal . The third reason is the total weight of the terminal and the UHF handpiece. It's only 630 grams, so it doesn't weigh down the hand like sturdy terminals weighing close to one kilogram. The fourth is the price. Cipherlab has long been excellent in the price/performance ratio.

The delivery included not only 10 terminals, but also a software solution, i.e. a ready-to-use program for loading items, working with documents and exporting them.

Thanks to RFID technology and fast software, order checking is very fast. Just read the barcode on the order, the device connects via WiFi or LTE wireless network to the server and downloads the list of items in the order. A quick RFID check is then carried out and a comparison of the actual material delivered is immediately displayed on the screen. RFID can also be used to quickly dispense material to the laundry or to instantly identify found material.

The application also allows remote updating to add or enhance features as required by the customer.

Due to the additional orders, the solution has proven to be successful and has simplified control at many of Christof's laundry locations. Thank you for your trust and we look forward to further cooperation.
