RFID tunnel for production control
In cooperation with Mieloo, an RFID tunnel for production control was created at the Brose Kopřivnice branch.
The tunnel consists of
n metal structure with mesh, which is equipped with RFID components(Zebra, Kathrein, Impinj), computer, semaphore and sensors.
The products (in this case mostly head restraints) contain RFID tags. After assembly, they are packed in a certain number of boxes, which are transported to the warehouse for future shipment. Before shipping to the warehouse, it is necessary to check that the individual packages contain the correct products in the correct number.
A connected traffic light indicates the status of the tunnel (red = can be loaded, green = loaded in order
). The sensors used are responsible for detecting the presence of a worker inside the tunnel. Then the RFID tags are read and evaluated.
If the system detects that the pallet in the tunnel contains the correct number and type of products, it turns on the green light and the pallet can be transported to the warehouse. Otherwise, the red light stays on and the worker can use the screen to figure out what the problem is. Once the problem is fixed, the measurement is repeated.
