The CipherLab RK95 is a device with Android operating system characterized by its robust design and simple data acquisition. A large 4.3-inch display can be operated according to the manufacturer with a finger, a glove and a pen. Even wetness is no problem.
Barcodes can be read with the handheld at distances from 7.6 cm up to 21.4 m (the 2X model), according to Cipherlab. On request, it can also be equipped with an NFC reading function. The device is resistant to water and dust and offers a high fall protection, according to the manufacturer. Special batteries could also be used at low temperatures down to -30 ° C. The keyboard should remain free of ice for up to seven hours under such conditions. If necessary, a temperature sensor in the unit controls the integrated heating.
Moreover, the RK95 comes with a hot-swap feature that the low battery can be simply replaced with a fully charged one even without leaving your current applications.
