Linerless labels represent a modern alternative to traditional labels, as they do not include a backing paper. Thanks to a special coating, the adhesive side does not stick to the front side, allowing the paper layer with adhesive to unwind directly from the roll—similar to adhesive tape. This system offers significant material savings, as there is no waste from backing paper. Savings are also evident in storage and transportation, as rolls of the same diameter can hold a much longer length of labels. Another advantage is printing flexibility—linerless labels are not pre-cut, allowing the label size to be adjusted precisely to the content. This minimizes waste and enhances overall efficiency.
